Install and Configuration Network Load Balancing

What In Network load Balancing(NLB).
Network Load Balancing (NLB) is a Windows Server feature that lets you make a group of
servers appear as one server to external clients. This group of servers joined through NLB is
called an NLB cluster or a server farm, and each member server in the farm is usually called
a host or node. The purpose of NLB is to improve both the availability and scalability of a
service hosted on all the individual nodes.

To Install the Network Load Balancing (NLB) Follow thes steps
1.click the server manager on the task bar, click the server manager.

How to Install Failover cluster

For recognition Failover cluster Must be explained:
Failover clustering is a feature that helps ensure that selected services or applications remain available even if a server hosting them fails. Unlike NLB, failover clustering is normally used to provide high availability for data that can be frequently updated by clients. Typical services hosted in failover clusters include database servers, mail servers, print servers, virtual machines hosted in Hyper-V (often hosting a critical application), and file servers.

To Intall the failover Cluster follow thes steps:
1.click the server manager on the task bar, click the server manager.
2.at the tap of server manager, select manage and click the add rule and features.
3.on the befur you begin page, click next.
4.on the installation type page, click next.
5.on the server selection page, click next.
6.on the server rule page, click next button.
7.On the Features page, select the Failover Clustering feature.
when select the failover cluster(SEE FIGURE 1)  and then click next.

8.On the Confirm installation selections page, select the restart the destination server automatically if required.
when select the restart the destination server automatically if required (See figure 2) and click the       Install button.

9.if you wan to open this, open the server manager, at the tap of server manager select the tools and click the Failover cluster Manager (see Figure 3)

What is ad ds ?
AD DS provides a distributed database that stores and manages information about network resources and application-specific data from directory-enabled applications. Administrators can use AD DS to organize elements of a network, such as users, computers, and other devices, into a hierarchical containment structure. The hierarchical containment structure includes the Active Directory forest, domains in the forest, and organizational units (OUs) in each domain. A server that is running AD DS is called a domain controller.

To install the Ad ds or active Directory follow thes steps.
1:Click the server manager button on task bar open server manager.

Install WSUS

WSUS has been part of the Windows Server operating systems for quite some time. To install WSUS on Windows Server 2012, you must install WSUS as a role.

• A WSUS server requires about 10 gigabytes (GB) of disk space for WSUS to run and 2 GB minimum to store the database. You will also need at least 30 GB to store the updates locally; however, depending on how many updates you need to store, you will most likely need much more.
A single WSUS server can support thousands of clients. A single WSUS server with 4 GB of RAM and dual quad-core processor can support up to 100,000 clients. However, most organizations of that size will have multiple WSUS servers to reduce the load on wide area network (WAN) links.
Lastly, the WSUS server or servers will need to communicate with Microsoft Update. Therefore, if you are having problems communicating with Microsoft Update, you might need to check the firewalls of an organization.

INSTALL WSUS
To install WSUS on Windows Server 2012, perform the following steps:
1. On the C drive, create an Updates folder.
2. Open Server Manager.
3. At the top of Server Manager, click Manage > Add Roles and Features. The Add Roles and Feature Wizard appears.
